Editing the site content

For any kind of editing, you need to login to the site first. (at this link)

To add a post/ announcement/ notice

  1. On top, place mouse (no need to click) on “New”
  2. Click on Post
  3. Type a title
  4. Enter content
  5. To add a PDF file or word file or an image, click on “Add media”, then upload files -> Select files
  6. Enter a title, description for the file
  7. Click on insert into post
  8. Once the typing of the content/ uploading files is over, click the category (For example,  “Section Service Cell”) on the right side below the heading “Categories”
  9. Click on publish (while creating the post) or on update (while editing the post) on the right side

 

To add an event

  1. On top, place mouse (no need to click) on “New”
  2. Click on Event
  3. Type a title
  4. Enter content/description of the event
  5. To upload files, follow the instructions given above
  6. Enter date and time below
  7. Enter Location details (like venue, address etc)
  8. Enter organizer details (name, phone, etc)
  9. Click on publish (while creating the post) or on update (while editing the post) on the right side
  10. The post will be visible on the events calendar and on the right side of the front page
